I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, in a family where we often hosted exchange students from all over the world. This led me to be very open and passionate about meeting and understanding different cultures, and eventually made me set out on my own to study abroad in Switzerland. This mindset has strongly influenced me as a designer: my experience of interaction with a wide variety of different people has forced me to never rely on my own user-opinion, yet always focus on the other, different user out there, that should also be appeased. Always put the user experience first, right from the start. If the research and design keep this in mind, the solution will be optimally useful for everybody.
I am passionate about using both my design and my management skills, to make our lives more pleasant and enjoyable.
Other than design, I also love traveling, cooking, and yoga. And my birds Pino and Coco!
