Project Overview

This project called "Save the Olives," in partnership with the College of Arts & Culture of Dar al-Kalima University in Palestine. I discovered that the olive tree is very important to the Palestinian people while discussing with Professor Faten and doing research, as olive trees are a major agricultural crop and are known as a symbol of nationality and peace. So I focused in particular on the Olive Tree and created a website to support the Olive Tree of the Palestinians.

My contribtuion

I have done the whole development including research, concept making, logo, graphic design, and copywriting. The professor provided me with the information and Palestinian artworks.First of all the website shows basic information about the Palestinian olive tree and products such as olive oil and olive soap, next shows Palestinian olive artworks and a message from Faten, a professor at the University of Dar al-Kalima, then finally provides a link to access to organizations such as the Union of Agricultural Union Work committees so that the Palestinian Olive Tree can be supported by the audience.

Exhibition

This project was seen in the Hybrid-Virtual Exhibition Palestine inside the Virtual Environment (VR). It took place at St. Peter's Chapel in Lucerne between 21 September and 4 October.
